It goes into special detail on the many plights that have been faced by Black people, such as slavery, racism, and police violence. I learned a lot about the Civil Rights Movement, and how WWII contributed to its growth throughout the country. I also thought that the article did a great job at highlighting the disproportionate impacts of the Great Depression & the following commodity shortages on Black people compared to the reast of the population. </div> </div>
